Peter McKenzie, speaker at the 2026 PM Systems Conference

Peter McKenzie’s journey into real estate began not from a corporate office, but through personal experience as a property investor. Frustrated by the challenges of self-managing his rentals, he founded Rincon Property Management in 2014. His entrepreneurial spirit continued with the launch of a maintenance contracting company in 2021, and he’s now preparing to introduce an innovative, subscription-based cleaning service—designed to support both his clients and fellow property owners navigating the industry on their own.

At the heart of Peter’s success is a strong belief in building exceptional teams. He prioritizes collaboration, mentorship, and a culture of excellence where every team member plays a meaningful role in the company’s growth.

Before entering the real estate world, Peter spent 20 years as a firefighter in Ventura, CA, rising to the rank of Fire Captain. That experience taught him resilience, leadership, and service—values that continue to shape his approach to business. After retiring from the fire service, Peter co-founded the Ventura Fire Foundation, where he now serves as president and board chair. The foundation provides vital support to firefighters and their families during times of need, a mission that remains deeply personal to him.

Outside of work, Peter is a devoted father to three daughters and cherishes every moment with them. A true ocean enthusiast, he finds peace and inspiration in surfing, sailing, and family days at the beach.
