Separating Fact from Fiction: What the Courts Actually Expect from Property Managers

David currently serves as a full-time hearing master for the Las Vegas Justice Court. Previously, David’s practice was divided between general litigation-with an emphasis on construction-and administrative law. He is licensed in and was actively litigating in the states of Nevada, Utah and California. He served clientele in the construction industry ranging from owners to general contractors, subcontrators and suppliers. His emphasis has been in mechanic lien and public works payment bond litigation. In 2004, David began to practice in the area of administrative law representing the Nevada State Contractors Board as prosecutor in its disciplinary proceedings and as counsel in its district court matters. David has also represented professionals in front of other state licensing boards and commissions. After his service in the Nevada Legislature, David added lobbying to his practice, testifying on behalf of public and private clients before the State Legislature.

David’s legislative service began in 2000 when he was elected Assemblyman to District 22 in Southern Nevada. David served through 2004 (two regular and four special sessions) on the following committees: Judiciary, Government Affairs, Commerce and Natural Resources. He was designated as Whip to his party caucus. During each session interim periods, David was appointed to and served on the twelve member Legislative Commission. He also served on the Public Lands and Regulation Review interim committees.
