Maranda Hunnicutt is the Founder and President of Foothills Property Management of Anderson, which she launched in 2010 with just 30 doors. Today, her team manages nearly 700 properties by combining operational knowledge with an investor mindset, helping property owners grow their portfolios, knowing their properties are in expert hands.
An 8th-generation Andersonian, she is known for showing up for her community just as fiercely as she does for her clients. She’s been on numerous boards, including New Foundations Home for Children, and is the only two-term president in the 90-year history of the Junior League of Anderson County.
Currently serving as Vice Chair of the NARPM Women’s Council, Maranda brings her signature mix of strategy, sass, and Southern grit to the property management industry. She’s passionate about empowering women, improving systems, and is a firm believer in collaboration over competition. Known for her candid insights and “impossible” tech wishlists that drive the engineers in her life crazy, Maranda shares real-world strategies that scale with integrity and support strong team culture by creating systems that truly support your goals.
In addition to managing properties for others, Maranda actively invests in real estate herself, building a growing portfolio that reflects her long-term vision. For her, property management is not just a business—it’s a path to legacy, both in her community and for her family.
When she’s not running a company or collaborating with others, you’ll find Maranda enjoying time with her husband and three children—most likely on the lake wake surfing, planning the next adventure, or running (late) in heels at the soccer field to support her kids. She brings that same energy, loyalty, and drive to everything she does—personally and professionally. She loves to laugh—mostly at herself—and believes life (and business) are too short not to have fun.
